Our Story
Sam Lents and Meredith Sell became friends during their time working at a public accounting firm. While they often utilized their talents for financial analytics and problem solving, they felt they had more to offer clients on a person-to-person level. Often being the lives of the party at their sometimes drab accounting office, they dreamed about a work environment where the goal is to thrive, not just survive. That dream led them to come together to start LS Accounting Collective.
Our goal is to bring you peace at mind, knowing your accounting is clean and up to date. You can focus on the work that fuels you, while we take care of the rest. Let us take care of the books, while you manifest your dream life.

Meredith Sell
Founder
Hi all! My name is Meredith. I started out my journey in accounting at Indiana University. I chose to major in accounting because the concepts came easy to me and I knew I wanted to use my analytical skills in my career.
Post graduation I packed my bags and headed to the mountains. I landed in Denver, CO and began my first job specializing in Federal Tax. I worked in public accounting for several years where I got my feet wet preparing personal and business tax returns.
Present day I most enjoy the connections I make with my clients, while also providing the accounting services that I pride myself in.
Outside of accounting, I enjoy probably too many hobbies. I love yoga - practicing and teaching, knitting, snowboarding, cooking, going to concerts, trying new restaurants, and hanging out with my boyfriend and tabby cat, Beans.

Samantha Lents
Hey! My name is Sam. I’m from the Chicago Suburbs, but have had the pleasure of living in Colorado, Texas, and South Carolina in the past few years. My accounting venture started when I realized I like numbers and could use that to help people save money. I got my accounting degree from CU Denver and headed to public tax accounting where I worked mostly in Federal and Colorado State Tax. I enjoy working with business and personal tax returns, but prefer pass-throughs.
Nowadays this business allows me to build client relations, problem solve, and help people in a meaningful way.
When I’m not working with numbers I’m usually reading, practicing yoga, running, searching for the latest music festival, watching movies, working on puzzles, chatting with friends and family, or playing fetch with my doggo Leory.
